This is one of the sweetest messages I’ve ever received! Thank you so much!! <3 I hope to make a comeback soon, since I know I have been MIA. Moving back from college and having relatives over that I haven’t seen in almost 5 years has taken a big toll on my energy level…

5/18 Update

Finals week is OVER! I moved back home yesterday. I actually ran out of dining points 2 days ago, so due to running around packing everything and living off of water and granola bars… I weighed myself this morning and I’m down to 100. The old me would have been pretty happy about this, but I know this is a result of some pretty unhealthy stuff, and also the result of losing a lot of muscle. 

Now that I’m back home, I don’t have access to a gym either. I’m not sure what sort of workout routine I’m going to fall into…

I also start my internship full-time (40 hours/week) on Monday 6/4, so who knows? Happy Summer!

Between getting my period and finals/hell week, gym has not been a priority. Resisting every urge to snack while studying though and still hitting about 1200-1500 per day. Gotta lay off the sugar though, M&M fun packs are tempting!! 

Not as nice as my stomach used to be, but I’ll have time this summer to build the abs back up again.

1 mile in 9 mins.

Finals are next week, which means it’s hell week… hopefully I can make time for the gym but we’ll see.

Between studying for an exam that determined my grade, to my ankle injury, to my dog passing away… the gym hasn’t been a priority.

Got on the elliptical today though and did 30 minutes! Apparently I burned 330 calories… but it was good to just be active again. My ankle is still pretty sore and hurts randomly. Not sure when I’ll be able to run again :(

I feel like my right ankle is rebelling against my body… walked around DC for a total of about 3 miles today and my whole ankle is swollen. Sigh.

I went to the gym with a mission and I accomplished it. 3 miles on the track, ~32 minutes. A little slower but my ankle is now severely swollen… whoops. No pain, no gain, right?
